Khmer Kindergarten Program

The Khmer Kindergarten Curriculum is specially designed for children aged 3 to 5 years old. This program spans three academic years: Toddler, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten. We are committed to ensuring that every child receives the best opportunities for early education, as we believe that laying strong foundations must begin at an early age.

At API, our students are nurtured and encouraged to develop essential social skills through engaging, play-based learning. With the guidance of our dedicated Khmer teachers, children are fully prepared to enter Grade One with confidence.

Why should your kid start studying Khmer?

Strong Foundation in Khmer

Kindergarten provides a fun and engaging environment for young children to learn the basics of the Khmer language, including the alphabet, pronunciation, and simple vocabulary. This foundational knowledge will make it easier for them to grasp more complex concepts in grade 1.

Early Exposure to Khmer Culture

Khmer kindergarten often incorporates elements of Khmer culture, such as songs, stories, and traditions. This early exposure helps children develop a sense of identity and appreciation for their heritage.

Social and Emotional Development

Kindergarten fosters social and emotional development through group activities, play, and interaction with other children. This prepares them for the social dynamics of a classroom setting and helps them build important social skills

Improved Readiness for Grade 1

Children who attend Khmer kindergarten tend to be better prepared for the academic challenges of grade 1. They have a head start in language skills, and they are more comfortable in a structured learning environment.

Enhanced Self-Confidence:

Mastering a new language can boost a child's self-confidence and sense of accomplishment. This confidence can translate to other areas of their life, such as academics and social interactions.
